  4. Prepare 20 g Butter *cut into small cubes
  5. Take 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Salt *depending on the saltiness of the stock
  6. Get Pepper

The broccoli should bring the temperature of the rice down just to the point where it is hot/warm, but not so hot that the cheese immediately melts when stirred into the rice. Finally, add the Parmesan and cheddar cheeses, and fold to combine again. More traditional broccoli rice casserole lovers will want this recipe as is, though! In a large skillet, melt the butter.

Instructions to make Broccoli Rice:
  1. Wash Rice by stirring it thoroughly in water with your hand and drain the water. Repeat this a few more times until water flows through clear.
  2. Drain the rice and place it into the rice cooker’s inner pot. Add Chicken Stock, and place Broccoli on top, but don’t stir. Scatter Butter, Salt and some Pepper.
  3. Press ‘COOK’ button to start cooking.
  4. When the rice is cooked, let it steamed for 10 minutes. Then loosen and mix well.
  5. *Note: You can add a little bit of Soy Sauce, additional veggies such as peas, grated Parmesan, or etc.
