- Beat 3 egg yolks with the sugar until soft and creamy. Grate orange zest and tsp of vanilla essence. Add flour slowly spoon by spoon, and little milk at the same time. Sprinkle chocolate chips. Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff and gently fold it into batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and add cocoa powder to one side of the mixture, gently fold in cocoa powder so it will look like marble effect. Pour into your well buttered and floured kugelhopf pan, and bake it in preheated oven 375ºF (180ºC) for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center come out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes then place a plate on top and turn it over. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
