Drain the pasta in a colander over a large bowl, reserving some of the cooking. Add pasta to the sauce; toss to combine, adding a little bit of the reserved pasta water at a time, only if necessary. Serve in individual bowls and sprinkle some freshly. Add pasta to boiling water and cook to taste.

Steps to make Bacon and Pea Pasta:
  1. On medium heat fry bacon till just crispy and remove. In same pot using same bacon fat, fry onions, garlic and chilli till soft. Add wine and cook on high heat for 3 minutes.
  2. Return bacon to wine mixture and cook for 5 minutes. Add cream and turn heat down to simmer.
  3. Add frozen peas and mix till defrosted. Then add cooked pasta. Mix and serve hot with Parmesan shavings and crispy baked prosciutto.

Add bacon or pancetta and a sprinkling of pepper, and fry until golden and crisp. Immediately add frozen peas and stir for a minute or two.
