- Butter the baking container ,choose what suit you ,add first layer of rice ,add slice ham and cheese,this can be dice,tear ,just fine,springkel some salt,pepper and your choice of seasoning
- Lay second layer of rice
- Now cover rice tray with cheese,ham,dice cheese,dice ham ..do it what style you like,seasoning again
- Bring to bake until cheese little brown on top

I love the end result - the taste of this recipe is quite close to Swensen's baked rice which I simply adore since young, thanks to CookBake Legacy whom I referenced and adapted the recipe from. I like the combo of the swiss cheese and parmesan (not one I'm used to seeing), highlighting the influences of neighboring Italy. In a casserole melt butter and sautee onions and garlic until soft. Stir in the tomatoes, rice, salt, thyme and bay leaf, blending well.
