Instructions to make Pasta with Red Sauce:
- Boil the pasta as per instructions on the packet. Leave it Al Dente. Do not overcook.
- In a wok, add olive oil and saute onions and capsicum for 3-4 minutes. Once done, remove from the wok and put them aside.
- If you don't have garlic butter, finely chop garlic and saute it with veggies. If you have garlic butter, skip this step
- Blend the tomatoes with green chilli into a puree
- In the wok with remaining oil, add the tomato puree and bring it to boil. Add oregano, salt and chilli flakes as per taste.
- Add garlic butter if you have skipped step 3
- Add the cooked pasta to this sauce and mix well. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes. Switch off the flame.
- Garnish with cherry tomatoes, cheese and breadsticks.
- I have only added onions and capsicum, feel free to add broccoli, olives, sundried tomatoes, carrots as veggies to the Pasta. Enjoy this super yummy, healthy and easy peasy Pasta.
